Welcome to our "show and tell"— We trust these words will give you an idea of the scope and efficacy of our work, and the healing and soul satisfaction experienced from our co-creative efforts. We use the principles of Feng Shui, the practices of Bau-Biologie & Ecology, and the technology of flowforms. If you wish to read a sample report, link here. More examples are prefaced by our remarks and can be linked from the information below. An ongoing diary of a report implementation may be followed here. "Mhora Hepburn came to our home and property with her camera and innate sense for transforming the environment. She concentrated on the Welcoming Environment of our property which is so important to one's sense of well being, as well as creating a warm invitation to guests. Her written and pictorial presentation of transforming suggestions was very clear, professional and exciting. It is such a positive experience to see your own environment through someone else's eyes. We can tend to ignore the junk pile in the corner, or we haven't imagined a trellis in a certain spot. Mhora's pictorial presentation used photos she took here and laid them out as the property sits, with an overlay of drawings to help visualize her transforming suggestions. Eventually our property will have a house for ourselves, which will be very separate from the business we operate on the property. Mhora helped to separate the two with gentle lines, trees, plants and water. A beautiful, but seldom enjoyed garden will become the focal welcome to our home. We have already implemented a number of her suggestions and plans are in the works for others. It feels good to be moving forward. Mhora's suggestions are practical, do-able, and have truly changed our outlook at our welcoming environment. We are looking forward to working with Mhora on the next phase of our property and home progress." KS Margaret made the decision to move from her large two-bedroom townhouse with a view of the harbour to a ground-floor unit in a senior's care residence. Although limited by intstitutional rules, there were many suggestions to alleviate the stress of the change, and to make her surroundings beautiful and peaceful for this stage in her life. Further details here. Our services will be particularly valuable in the real estate market—for the buyer and for the seller. As a seller, you may be concerned that your house is not selling fast enough, or at a speed that meets your needs to relocate, or attracting the right niche of buyers. We can assess your property and give you some simple, straightforward suggestions that will make your property more attractive to the parade (or non-parade) of buyers. Realistic write-ups are a must if you want to keep your integrity in the sale process. A feeling of "home" is a necessity and works subtly on the viewer, cementing a positive memory of the visitation. Meeting the prospective owner is helpful in alleviating the fears of not being able to cope with all the new gadgets, idiosyncrasies, and mod cons of a new home. We have hundreds of creative suggestions to offer to move the process forward. As a buyer, you may be overwhelmed by the minutia required to become the proud new owner. Our experience with satisfying the conditions of purchasing along with all your personal needs and desires can be called upon to your advantage. Do you know what to do with inadequate or poor water? Do you know what to do to remove the toxins to make it a healthy building to live in? Do you know what you can do to reduce electrical and others costs? Do you know what to do with transmission towers in your back yard? Do you know what to do with a backyard that is pure gravel? We have solutions for all these dilemmas and more. If you want to read about an experience of building for environmental and chemical sensitivity then click here. Ten years ago Mhora built a straw bale house to accommodate her inability to live with modern-day building materials. This experience of building naturally, without toxins, and sustainably harvesting building materials from the land, has culminated in a truly living, breathing, green home that gives the visitor the experience of the inside being out, and the outside being in. Truly amazing. This building was the first straw bale house on Salt Spring Island; the first one finished in British Columbia; and the first to get insurance in Canada. It includes load bearing and modified post and beam construction, and is entirely to building code and engineering standards. All this before internet and e-mail, and before the manufacture of toxin-free materials by the world at large. Four years ago, although by no stretch of imagination a gardener, Joy had a vision for developing hugging gardens that would offer visitors healing and heart peace by just standing in them. In just over one year an acre of waste-high old field grass and rocks was transformed into a place of abundance and beauty that could easily be called God's Garden.
